Ys III: Wanderers from Ys is a Japanese action role-playing game, released back in 1989 for multiple arcade/ home consoles including Sega Genesis and MegaDrive. The game is the third installment of the series and is the first to feature direct control over the protagonist’s ability to attack, and the ability to jump. The game also features a side-scrolling action platformer gameplay that is different from the previous games of its series.
