Control an advanced space fighter codenamed: Solar Striker and blast your way through six levels against the forces of Reticulon in this old-school vertical scrolling shooter game!
Solar Striker was the first ever vertical shooter released for the Nintendo Game Boy (GB) handheld system back in 1990. The game takes place in the year 2159 when the Earth Federal Government was established. In this game, the Earth Federal Army attacked a star known as Turn to face the forces of Reticulon. However, the Earth’s army failed and is now down to its last hope: You. Defeat a mass army of enemies and engage in gigantic boss fights in this vertical scrolling space shooter game. If you find the normal game too easy, you can play in Hard Mode by pressing Select instead of Start from the title screen. Good luck and have fun!
