What do you get when you cross a blur with a saw? Metal Sonic Hyperdrive is an updated version of the first adventure of our Blue Hero. Sonic once again must stop Dr. Robotnik in his quest to get the Chaos Emeralds, a time-bending artifact that would signify the end of the world.
Dr. Robotnik creates Eggrobo, his trusty machine, to travel back and start world domination. Kidnapping tails in the Mystic Ruins and sending him to a steel themed prison, Tails was lucky enough to escape. Gathering all the parts from Dr. Robotnik's lab, he creates a superhero model that behaves and acts the same way. He is codenamed Metal. Sending Metal to follow the evil villain and asks him to destroy Eggrobo. You should stop the villain's nefarious plans once and for all. A side-scrolling game that includes the things that you liked on the previous Sonic games, Metal Sonic Overdrive gives you a more powerful protagonist that can withstand any obstacle placed before it. Go to the options menu for additional content like character selection and survival mode. A new armored Sonic, not enough. What about the appearance of a lovable pink character from Nintendo? Gear up as it's time to save the world again.
