Gaiares is an action-packed side-scrolling space shooter game notable for allowing players to customize their weapons by leeching and taking them out of the enemies. Released back in 1990 for the Sega Genesis and Mega Drive consoles, Gaiares became a cult classic favorite shortly after. In this game, you must stop a group of space pirates from harvesting the Earth’s toxic dump to create their own super weapon, before the galactic federation decides to blow up the sun!
