Capcom’s Soccer Shootout (or more commonly known only as Shootout) is the first game of the J.League Excite Stage series, and also known as “J.League Excite Stage ’94”. The game was very well received and was quite famous during its time. The game features a side-view perspective similar to many arcade soccer games, except in this game, all players can be positioned anywhere in the field for a more versatile and strategical gameplay which allows the players to exercise their minds to create their very own soccer strategy that isn’t allowed in real life.
