Axelay is an amazing sci-fi retro video game that features both horizontal and vertically scrolling levels. The game allows the player to choose from three different weapon-types. These weapons upgrade and increase in number as the levels progress. Axelay takes place in the fictional planetary system known as Illis. The Illis system was invaded by an alien empire known as the Armada of Annihilation. As a last resort against the alien forces, the citizens of the Illis system sent out the D117B Axelay fighter, and you are the pilot. Axelay is a fast based and skill based game. You will need to use your reflexes to win.
